Olympic Football Betting

As part of a wider ongoing linkup with Ladbrokes I'm going to be making weekly predictions. You can see how much money I lose in real time. Hell, the wife might too. Gulp.

My bets this weekend are:

  • Great Britain women to win 2-0 against Canada (£10 at 13/2)
  • Craig Bellamy to score first in the Great Britain men's football (£5 at 6/1)

  1. At school I set myself as a bookmaker on the Sports Championship one year. V profitable, and of course it's not gambling.

  2. I had really high hopes for Team GB in the football; both for the men and women.

    I thought GB women were very short odds against Canada, and left it alone myself.

    watching the men last night, I just knew that it was going to penalties, and that we would suffer the same fate as we are so used to these days.

    We looked totally shot in extra time, with a special mention for Aaron Ramsey who looked absolutely dead on his feet.
